Group Classes

Dog training classes help teach dogs good manners and basic skills while building a stronger bond with their owners. Classes are kept small, creating a calm and controlled space where each dog gets the attention it needs. By practising around other dogs and everyday distractions, dogs learn how to stay focused and behave well in real-life situations.

All group classes are £80 for a four-week course and include a welcome pack, post-class emails, handouts and support throughout and after your course.

There will also be a graduation and certificate in completion of your course, along with a goodie bag to go home with.

Classes Available

Puppy

Suitable for those ages 12+ weeks. Puppies need to be fully vaccinated to attend and our sessions cover essential skills and socialisation.

Adolescent

Suitable for those teenagers older than 6 months. These sessions are designed for the needs of this age group.

Adult and Rescue

Suitable for adults and re-homed/rescue dogs. These sessions go 'back to basics' and support bonding with our new dog.

Expect to learn: recall, walking nicely on a lead, how to stop jumping up, help with mouthing and chewing unwanted items, bond building, support with toilet training, trick training and more.

Not only that, but you'll also learn how your dog learns, giving you all the skills and confidence you need to keep adding new skills into your training as you go.

The Venue

Our classes are held at

Thornhill Community Centre

Leadon Court

Thornhill

Cwmbran

NP44 5TZ

Our venue is fully accessible with low step access, disabled toilet and two disabled parking spaces.

There is parking directly outside of the venue for around 6 vehicles so please be mindful while parking your vehicle and leave enough space for a full class size to be able to park.

The hall is spacious and offers an outdoor area to practice some ‘real-life’ scenarios.

The hall and carpark does have full CCTV so please be aware of this before attending classes.

Unfortunately the venue does not have waste disposal for used poo bags meaning you will have to take your gifts home with you, or dispose of in the public waste bins situated outside of the venue in the public areas.
