Virtual Training
Virtual 1:1 training sessions are completely tailored to the needs of each dog and owner, covering a wide range of topics outlined on this page and more. They offer a highly accessible and flexible way to work with a trainer, providing a convenient and often more affordable alternative to in-person appointments. Sessions can be done from the comfort of home, don’t require a strict schedule, and fit easily around work, family, or other commitments. They can also take place from anywhere with an internet connection—whether on holiday, during a walk, at a park, or even in a quiet corner of a café. All that’s needed is a small space to work from and a reliable connection, allowing training to happen wherever and whenever it suits.
Virtual 1:1 sessions are priced at £25 per hour.
Reactivity
Virtual sessions are often ideal for reactive dogs because they allow training to take place in the dog’s familiar, low-stress environment. By avoiding immediate exposure to triggers such as unfamiliar people, dogs, or locations, the focus can remain on understanding behavior, improving communication, and teaching effective management and foundation skills. This approach helps prevent setbacks, supports safety, and creates steady progress by building calm, reliable behaviors before gradually introducing more challenging situations.
Settle & Visitors
Virtual sessions are especially effective for dogs that struggle with settling or become overly excited by visitors, as these behaviors typically occur in the home. Training in the dog’s real environment allows guidance to be tailored to everyday routines, entryways, and common triggers. This makes it easier to teach calm behaviors, improve impulse control, and coach owners through real-life scenarios, leading to more practical and lasting results.
Mouthing & Chewing
Virtual sessions can be very beneficial for dogs struggling with mouthing and chewing, as these behaviors are often influenced by overstimulation or difficulty regulating arousal. Working in a calm, familiar home environment helps reduce unnecessary stimulus, making it easier to identify underlying causes and teach appropriate alternatives. This approach supports better impulse control, clearer communication, and practical management strategies that help dogs learn what to chew and how to interact appropriately.
Toilet Training
Virtual sessions are highly effective for toilet training because they allow guidance to be tailored to the dog’s actual living environment and daily routines. Training in the home makes it easier to observe patterns, identify triggers, and implement consistent schedules and cues. This hands-on approach helps reinforce desired behaviors, prevents accidents, and provides practical strategies that support faster, more reliable results.
Separation Anxiety
Virtual sessions are ideal for addressing separation anxiety and related behaviors because they take place in the dog’s everyday environment, where these challenges naturally occur. Training at home allows for careful observation of triggers and stress signals while implementing gradual, structured strategies to build confidence and independence. This approach helps reduce anxiety, prevent escalation of unwanted behaviors, and supports lasting, positive changes in how the dog copes when left alone.
Muzzle Training
Virtual sessions are highly effective for muzzle training, especially for dogs who may be a banned breed or easily stressed by new experiences. Training in the familiar home environment reduces pressure and allows the dog to learn gradually, making the muzzle a positive and comfortable tool. This approach helps build confidence, ensures safety, and reduces anxiety, so the dog associates the muzzle with calm, stress-free experiences rather than fear or restraint.
Crate Training
Virtual sessions are particularly effective for crate training because they allow dogs to learn in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safe and secure. Training in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and makes it easier to introduce the crate gradually and positively. This approach supports building confidence, teaching the crate as a calm, inviting space, and ensures consistency, leading to more reliable and lasting results.
